Team Sports Clips-TUTORIAL

With our fall soccer season in full swing now we are now deep in soccer cleats, cute little team uniforms, and of course we are all signed up to bring snacks too.  I don't know about you, but in our family my kids are absolutely pumped for their turn to bring their team goodies after a game well-played.

Cue these great kids crafts supplies, the new Creatology Foamies Party Platters sold exclusively at Michael's stores nationwide.  I was sent a few of these fun foam platters to play around with and together the kids and I came up with a super cute way to jazz up their team snack bags :-)

The platters are great for kid crafting (think birthday party or play group!) They come in two styles, a flower-esque platter and a sports-themed platter.  The foamies are just foam shapes with no adhesive backs so you will need to have glue dots or white craft glue or some sort to stick them to things.  The platters also come with multi-colored poms and gemstones for your decorating pleasure.

Want to make a few cute Team Sports Clips for your turn at bringing team snack?  This platter works perfectly for team sports like soccer, football, baseball, and basketball!

Team Sports Clips

1 Darice Sports Party Platter
1 container of Creatology Foam stickers with letters and numbers
clothespins
glue dots or white craft glue
paper lunch bags

Grab your project essentials and you can do this one assembly-style in no time at all...and with the help of your kids to boot!

You'll also need a container of these fun foam letters and numbers...any font style you want!

Grab a clothespin and place one glue dot 2/3 of the way up from the open mouth.  Press a soccer ball foamie onto the glue dot firmly making sure it is centered on the clothespin.

Place another glue dot on the bottom center of a soccer ball foamie (or other sports ball foamie you may be using!) and set aside.

Next, peel the paper back from one of the letters (the initials of each teammate) and stick it firmly to the center of the trophy foamie.

Then press the top center of the trophy onto the glue dot we stuck on the front of the soccer ball foamie earlier.

I like to press it all together one final time to make sure my glue dots are stuck on well.

And there you have it!  Easy, fun, and super adorable Team Sports Clips to clip onto those after-game snack bags :-)  The other nice thing about these clips is that the kids can re-use the clips to hang homework or art projects at home later!

Then you can let your kids fill up each paper lunch bag with their chosen snacks and clip away!

If you are interested in checking out more from the Darice or Creatology lines sold at Michael's make sure you head on over to their social media pages!

Thanks for stopping by today!
