Last week this little girl turned two. Yessiree, Eloise is a whole two years old now, how is it that my children just keep getting bigger and bigger? I meant to blog about it last week but our internet was out for a few days, darn modem quit working on us. Can I just say big hooray for weekend house calls from the internet man :-)
She was all sorts of excited to open her gifts when she woke up. There was a baby doll in one of them that made her just squeal in delight. Thank you grandma!
I made her a few dress up clothes since she is big into dressing up these days. Minnie Mouse, Jessie from Toy Story, and Snow White. I didn't get a chance to start sewing them together until the night before her birthday and wouldn't you know it but I break the knife blade on my serger in the middle of them. Luckily, I was able to rig it up so that I could get the last two done, nothing like a little last minute sweating it out! Good times.
Summer birthdays mean summer treats and that is exactly what we did. She wanted an ice cream cone from one of our favorite ice cream joints. Drippy goodness in 100 degree heat.
She left a drippy mess too. At least it was pretty to clean up.
Can you believe that we were handing these out only ONE month ago?
Yup, this little man is officially one month old.
Oh how I love staring into his big sweet eyes.
We think they are going to be blue but it's still so hard to tell.
We are getting some pretty awesome smiles from him.
Being so cute sure wears you out. I think nap time is coming.
Hope you've all been well! Thank you so much for all the well wishes on our new little guy. We are eating him up.
I'll be back tomorrow with a tutorial for y'all, so see you soon.
Thanks for stopping by!
XOXO,
